Obama Birth Certificate Release Timed Well Politically

However, I will point out that there is likely going to be an amount of opposition to the legitimacy of this birth certificate from conspirators and others.  With so many people believing that the government was responsible for events ranging from the JFK assassination to the travesty of 9/11, it doesn’t seem far-fetched to expect conspirators to accuse this birth certificate of being a forgery, especially with the timeliness of it.

This was a great time for Obama to release his birth certificate, especially with potential 2012 Republican candidate Donald Trump gaining such popularity and broadcasting his “birther” message for everyone who would listen.  The day after Trump was acknowledged worldwide as saying that he had sources that said that the birth certificate wasn’t there, Obama releases his documentation.  Hmm…

At the official beginning of the campaign, though we all know that Obama has been campaigning for about 6 years now, Obama has stepped out and produces these documents while they are being called into question by popular media and private investigators are digging up every bit of information that they can, at the expense of Donald Trump.  It seems as though this type of move is politically timed in nature and will, more than anything, prove to be an intentional maneuver to make the candidate look bad. 

This makes me question whether or not this maneuver has anything to do with the posturing that other candidates have done, avoiding the birther issue and even coming out against it.  If so, it seems as though it has proven to be the correct choice, as these candidates will not suffer the repercussions of publicly advocating for the non-naturalized citizen position.

I have never been on the side of the “birthers” myself but I have maintained that, with there being a significant amount of people who have called it into question, and with the releasing of other documents which have already released vital information about the birth of the president, there may be something to the fact that the president hadn’t released it.  I haven’t said that he wasn’t a naturally born citizen but that if he did have the documentation to prove it, it would be more beneficial for him to produce those documents and alleviate the questioning, rather than allowing it to continue to be a question.
