NC POLITICIANS CAN'T SAY NO TO THE LITTLE LADY

It appears that a great advantage of being the better half of a politician's marriage, is the better job you can land along with your spouse. The better half may get elected to office as well. Olympia Snowe eventually became the Senator from Maine after she married the Governor of Maine. Look at former First Lady Hilary Clinton, along with Bill, came the office of U.S. Senator and U.S Secretary Of State. Closer to home, Mary Easley, wife of former Governor Mike Easley was enjoying an impressive, high paying job at NC State University, before she went down with the ship. Her husband is now under investigation. Just recently, the Mayor of Charlotte's wife, Samara Foxx, could not continue to outfox the citizens after allegations of cronyism ended her high paying job with the county. The Mayor of the largest city in North Carolina, as well as the past North Carolina Governor himself, couldn't say "No" to the little lady.
