Transforming People into Patriots

Remember when the human meerkat Nancy Pelosi was accusing the Tea Party of being Astroturf? I know, I know. It’s hard for me to even remember past this morning’s breakfast. Not so sure that was sugar garnishing my cereal. But I digress, and vomit.

She claimed that the Tea Party was just a bunch of insurance company hacks bought and paid for by Big Insurance.

However, at the same time they were being accused of Big Insurance cronyism, the Tea Party was also getting ridiculed by those on the left for their crude, shabbily put together signs, with their misspelled werds and such. I guess that one day of class to attain your insurance license doesn’t cover grammar. I wish I would have known that before I put down my deposit. .

Well here’s the rub folks…..it can’t be both!

Here’s a fun game to play. Go to Google Image search right now. Back now? Good, because I didn’t tell you why to go there yet.

Type in “ACORN Rally” or “SEIU Rally”. What do you see? Misspelled signs? Nope. A conglomerate of home made signs made from magic markers and construction paper taken from Ms. Joyner’s first grade class while she wasn’t looking because her assistant is busy grading papers and she’s lost her will to live? Nope.

What you see is conformity and monotony not seen since the Hitler youth. Ooh, wow, comparing your political opponents to the Nazi’s IS fun. Duly noted libs.

The reason for the homogeny? The union boss just got back from Kinkos!

You see, it’s hard to misspell signs you had nothing to do with creating. All of the lefty “protestors” have the same sign, the same shirt, and the same nursery rhyme chant, because none of them actually contributed anything to the protest. The union leaders just went down to the local print shop, pressed the old spell check button, and created a bunch of collateral to hand out for the “grassroots” protest. Astroturf at its astroturfiest.

As a smart person once said, “if you want to know what the democrats are up to, just listen to what they are accusing the republicans of doing”. Who’s that smart person you ask? Me! Did you not just read the first sentence of this paragraph? Just kidding, it was probably one of the Three Stooges. Groucho was my favorite..
