WHITEVILLE, NC – The N.C. 7th Congressional District Republican Party is teaming up with the Columbus County Republican
Party to sponsor a candidates’ forum
on Tuesday, Apr. 6, 2010 at 7 p.m. at the Columbus County Courthouse, located
at 100 Courthouse Square
in Whiteville. The forum will feature
Republican candidates for Congress
in the 7th Congressional District.
Republicans and unaffiliated voters are eligible to vote in the
Republican primary, which will be held Tuesday, May. 4
“Under the Democrats’ one-party rule in Washington, we have seen unprecedented increases in spending,
debt and government expansion,” says Frank Williams, Chairman of the 7th
District GOP. ”We need new, common-sense
conservative leaders in Washington who will not sit idly by while Speaker
Pelosi pushes her big-government agenda that is bankrupting our nation and
eating away at our precious freedom. We
invite Republicans and unaffiliated voters to attend this event, get to know
our candidates, and then get
involved with the campaign of their choice.
This is an important election, and conservatives need all hands on deck
if we are going to inject some much-needed integrity, common sense and fiscal
responsibility into our government.”
The 7th District Republican Party will be working with counties throughout the district
to organize forums. Dates and times are
posted on http://www.ncgop7.com.
