I tried to buy a ticket and I was told the event has been sold out for over a month. This year's Onslow county AFP annual dinner is boasting double the number of supporters over last year. Curtis, please post your address and other highlights of the evening on CTN. It will be the second best option.

This event will be worth the drive to Jacksonville. Curtis Wright's forthright and unwavering conservative voice is exactly the message the patriots of Jacksonville want to hear in these troubling times. Americans For Prosperity's Onslow County chapter is a spirited and dedicated group who are willing to go the extra mile, including those extra miles to Washington. Returning from the Washington rally against the health care legislation, the bus from Wilmington rendezvoused with the bus from Jacksonville at Ralph's Restaurant in Roanoke Rapids off I-95. Ralph's was my suggestion and he's been there since 1941. Ralph's was glad to see two bus loads of conservatives filing in to chow down on his great home cooking, and of course talk politics and the rally. Our waitress freely talked politics with us, and she thanked us for making the trip to Washington for her because she that day's shift. Let's continue to fight this liberal legislation spewing out of Washington, designed to rip our country from its founding roots. Let's stay connected neighbor city!
