Castles Made of Sand

Hypothetical question. What if I told you that you could make a great living, six figures a year, building those fantastic sand castles you see at the sand castle competitions? What would your first reaction be? “Well let me get my pants on, and I’d better learn how to build some of them there sand castles!” one might assume.

But you see, those people have honed their craft over years and years of working and toiling and sweating in the hot, hot sun. It’s enough sun to turn Edgar Winter into George Hamilton.

Now, what if I told you, you could make the same amount of money, possibly even more, by just running through and kicking other people’s sand castles down. Way easier, right? No study. Only takes a few seconds. Don’t have to get all sweaty. Hell, even a petulant, little child could do it. It’s an easier road to riches than building them, right? This is where 52.7% of you would say “yes”.

Well, Obama is that petulant child. You see, the framework in which this country was created from and has thrived on, took some of the greatest minds that ever lived years and years to formulate, draft, and create. The foundations of our democratic republic here in the United States can be just as fragile as those sandcastles on any given beach.

Obama, being the “community organizer” that he is, has made a lucrative living taking down the very institutions that have made this country so great. And why not? Why contribute to the evolution, growth, and prosperity of a culture, the likes of which 99% of this planet’s occupants have never known, when you can attract the support of huddled masses, quick to latch on to anyone who will tell them that their failures are of no fault of their own? It’s an easy gig. And I should know. I misguidedly worked for the Rainbow Coalition once for a whole summer. Talk about a misleading title. My lawsuit is still pending.
