Transforming People into Patriots

America Rising

The inability to understand what the, so called, Tea Party movement is all about, seems to be epidemic among entrenched left wing politicos and the mainstream media. As a result, they tend to disregard, ridicule and fear what they don’t understand. They see ordinary, everyday Americans attending events in ever growing numbers but ignore what we are saying. Aristocratic arrogance has rendered them incapable of defining who we are or what we believe in.

They have failed to realize that we are not just so many pixels running across a flat screen during a ten second sound bite on the evening news. We are living, breathing, Americans, with a deep concern for the future of our country. They think the signs we carry are; the kitchen artistry of a bunch of ignorant, gun toting, Bible thumping buffoons. But that is a dangerous assumption, because those signs are a new form of contemporary political cartoons that will be indelibly etched on a new page of American history. The words and images depicted on those signs, or voiced at assemblies and town hall meetings, reflect the tenacity of modern Conservative American Patriots and our intense desire to protect the Constitution and defend the Republic.

Aristocratic arrogance is not a new concern in American politics. In a letter to Henry Lee in
1824, Thomas Jefferson addressed the contrasts that exist in a two party system. He explained that, in
general, one party consisted of; “Those who fear and distrust the people, and wish to draw all powers
from them into the hands of the higher classes.” (An amazingly accurate description of the current
Democrat administration) and the other as; “Those who identify themselves with the people, have
confidence in them, cherish and consider them as the most honest and safe, although not the most wise,
depositary of the public interests.” (An accurate description of the current Republican Party)
In recent years, a faction of the Republican Party moved a little too far to the left, and in
doing so has softened the contrast that existed between the two parties. Perhaps they were lured by the
concept of compassionate conservatism. As a result, they drifted from compromise to complicity,
bringing us perilously close to sacrificing our personal liberties at the altar of socialist ideology.
Fortunately, conservative voters are being motivated by the looming financial disaster facing American
taxpayers, and have overwhelmed the socially and financially liberal element of the party. Conservative
is no longer a dirty word. In fact, many candidates are abandoning their liberal mindset and clamoring to
declare themselves champions of conservatism. If the Republican Party remains true to the conservative
principles being espoused by Conservative American Patriots, it may be able to fend off the creation of
a third party. And while a third party may be a viable alternative in the future, this is not the time to risk
fragmenting the conservative base that has been invaluable in the effort to combat voter apathy.
As for partisan incumbent candidates, the mainstream media, and self-serving
politicos, it is obvious that their recognition of the reformation taking place
in America, is obscured by grandiose visions of their own self-importance. If
they think that intense sarcasm and malicious lies will cause the modern
American patriot to shrink into the muted depths of darkness, they are wrong.
On the contrary, our numbers grow larger and our voices grow louder as we surge
into the light of a new political landscape. Conservative American Patriots,
have risen from self-inflicted insignificance to political prominence, as our
forefathers prayed we would. And if we continue to embrace our new-found
Political Liberty, remain true to our principles and stay the course, we will
consign the politically arrogant to the trash heap of history.
