Forced Annexation

Curtis Wright, of 'The Morning Beat with Curtis Wright' on The Big Talker FM, welcomes a crowd of more than 100 people at an anti-annexation rally he hosted Saturday afternoon at the Midway Trading Post, one of the properties the gated town of St. James plans to annex into its jurisdiction.

The lineup of speakers at the Rally included:Rep. Frank Iler (R-Bruns. Co.), NC Senate Candidate Bettie Fennell, Cathy Heath of StopNCAnnexation.com; Chris Farr of Americans For Prosperity NC; Bernest Hewett President of the Brunswick County NAACP; Ginny Quila of We The People of NC; Tony Tetterton of Fair Annexation Coalition NC; and Ed Rapp of the Brunswick County GOP.
